Chapter 6.2 - October 2022 - Belo Horizonte Day VIII - Final day and going home..

On their last day, Sofia was the first to wake up, and on this day they both seemed pretty preoccupied with looking their best for each other, as they repeatedly went to whatever mirror they could find to check or freshen up their appearance..



While Sofia is caught up with her own reflection and Palash is still sleeping, I want to stop by another household before leaving the island behind. It is a couple that I had hoped would show themselves when Sofia and Palash went around..



It is a young couple, Veronika and Borysko Kozak, living in a traditionally styled home.

It may not be a perfect replica, but houses of this style was my inspiration: https://www.dreamstime.com/royalty-free-stock-photography-traditional-ukrainian-house-image4384567 I wanted to go for something traditional, but at the same time small, so that it would be an easy starter house to make.

Veronika is a common name in many places around the world, and means "victory". Borysko is a Ukranian name and means "fighter". Kozak is a name of eastern Europan origin and means "brave man".



The couple has a very close bond with each other, and never shall they be torn apart...





If I should ever return to this island as a world to play in and not just a vacation destination, I might have this couple as the active family.



Back at the beach house, there is another couple that, after all, also looks very inseperable. Palash just woke up, and Sofia went for him to grab him for another make out session.



And finally Palash admits that he feels a strong attraction to his wife. ;)



Sofia gets a craving for food again, and this time it's tofu hot dogs on the menu.. (You may have seen this picture before.. this is not the original. ;) )



Palash is checking out his appearance in the mirrors... "I have to make sure I am as attractive to my wife, as she is to me!"



They spend the rest of their stay while waiting for the plane enjoying some skinny dipping in the jacuzzi and freshing themselves up in the mirrors. ;)



They had originally planned to stay on the island for a week, but there were no planes flying from the islands on the seventh day, so they got an additional day to just relax. ;)



Shortly before leaving, Palash wants to immerse himself in the final moments there as much as he can by watching the flowers on the lawn, but is blocked by a lady bug...



Sofia sat still in the jacuzzi all the time until the plane was scheduled to leave, and it was time to go.. bye bye Belo Horizonte, bye bye beach house...



Hello home.. The plane flew over night, and by next morning it had landed on Cyme Ixotic airport, where they picked up their car on the final drive towards their hometown of Bewickton..



It's always nice to be home after being away on a journey, but it feels a bit melancholic already...



Once Palash walks onto the front porch, Yumi runs out to greet him with an agressive snarl..



That dog could need some training, better start now when she is still just a puppy...



Palash and Sofia has brought with them the frisbee from the beach house, and go out into their garden to play.



They keep playing, slowly improving their skills and getting more acknowledgement from the sports crowd, until Palash desperately needs to use the bathroom, but is to late...



"How embarrassing, I'm going to bed.." Sofia thinks. Palash is standing there, feeling very shameful, before he eventually joins her in bed too, without showering first.. that's gross, dude. :P



Anyway, I hope they can get a good nights sleep, still.. so... good night. ;)

Chapter 6.2 - October 2022 - Belo Horizonte Day VII - At World's End

It was a rainy morning on the second to last day of Sofia and Palash's honeymoon, and Palash went outside to eat some left over macaroni and cheese with a nice rainbow in the background.





For some reason when Sofia woke up, she had a strong craving for pancakes and immediately went to the kitchen to make some.



"I have never really liked pancakes all that much" she thought, "but this morning, I don't know.. it's strange, but I just couldn't think about anything else. I just had to eat pancakes! Lots of them!"



And as usual, she goes into the bathroom to do the dishes, and the sink breaks. :P "Ah, fleeb! Better call the repair person..."



The repair woman shows up and makes a first attempt at fixing the sink, but it isn't excactly going to well...



"I'm sorry" she says to Palash "I'm new at the job, and this is my first time visiting a customer on my own... I'll uh... I'll try again.."



Second time around it looks much better, and she actually manages to fix the sink and everything is good. ;)



Meanwhile the weather had cleared up and Sofia had gone to relax in the jacuzzi. Palash went another game of gnubb.



Sofia noticed her husband had come out again, and did what she usually does. Walk over to him for a bit of romance. ;)





Watching her husband play gnubb gave her a wish to play horse shoe, so she suggests that they return to the festival park.



The sun has already begun to set as they leave.



Sofia gets her wish fulfilled, and eventually another local woman joins them in their game, cheering enthusiastically.



Once it's the womans turn to play Sofia is all of a sudden feeling competitive and aggressive, before she makes a remark about taking the other woman on in a fight...





She quickly changes her mind, though, and says to Palash that she wants to go to a disco to dance, and Palash thinks that is a much better idea than any fighting could ever be...



So Palash calls for a taxi for them, and they go to the "At World's End Beach Disco", It's an open air disco with a bar on the first floor and outdoor dance areas and a swimming pool on the second floor.



They walk into the bar area, and Sofia is already rubbing her hands and thinking about their journey home. They both received messages on their cellphone that their plane leaves in 24 hours, and check in is now open... Sofia has already made sure that they will be travelling on business class, of course. ;)





Sofia then makes it up the stairs to dance, and so far she has the dance floor all to herself. Palash is checking out the flower decorations.. he has a thing for looking at flowers.. wasn't much else to look at here so far. ;)



But it is not long before a taxi arrives with a few more party goers.. Palash gets hungry and goes to order a hot dog, but doesn't get to eat it before a woman asks him to dance.. :P

While Palash was upstairs dancing, Sofia had also gotten hungry and had gone to the bar downstairs for a nice lobster meal.



After eating, Sofia goes upstairs for a smustle dance, and Palash, still hungry, wants to try dancing on the beach outside.





They keep dancing and having fun until the disco closes and it is time for another taxi ride to spend one last night at the beach house..



Palash finally sits down to eat a meal of mac and cheese, before both of them go to bed with their cute snoring sounds. ;)
