Chapter 1.2 - July 2021: The Bushweeds

The town of Bewickton, like mentioned earlier, has a rich cultural and nightlife for it's size, and a group of people combining the two is a collection of young adults living in the house known as simply "The Party House". And of course, these kids decided to start a band together, under the lead of guitarist, vocalist and front figure Gerda Botnen.

Party kid Merete Sagmo quickly took up the keyboard playing duties. On this one particular day in July everyone in the band was happy, excited and nervous about their first upcoming gig on this years summer festival... The different coating on the wall is because this was originally two rooms, but one wall had to be removed to make room for the instruments. (The band had a field day smashing a wall in their house! Party hard, go wild... Definately a party with plenty of Whiskey in the jar-o......)

..and last, but not necessarily least, Sam Mæle went for the bass and the band was almost complete.

They just needed a drummer.. but one wasn't hard to find as all they needed to do was to ask long time friend and fellow party animal Kajsa Tangstad to fill the slot. ;)

After their band rehearsal, three of them chose to have a little dance party by the jacuzzi. I love these party animals, they're so lively. :)

Kajsa is not part of "The party household", and she is also the oldest member of the band. She was very happy and felt flattered to be invited into the band.

In addition to the party animal trait, Kajsa also has the rebellious trait. She is usually nice and friendly (except for when she is criticizing art), but she is also pretty badass. You don't want to get on her bad side!

There is also a community rehearsal room in the basement below the Community Theatre downtown. Here is a better shot of Sam Mæle playing bass down there during a rehearsal a few days later. What can be better than having the shortest guy in the band play the biggest instrument! :) 

The band rocking out in the community rehearsal room. As this is on a public lot, it will naturally attract some other curious sims. Among the band here is Laranya, another very cultural personality of the town..

And when Gerda Botnen, the bands guitarist, was in need of a toilet break, Laranya was more than ready to step in and take over duties, being quite musical and artistic herself. Here she is happily jamming along with the band. ^_^
